Well, here is what ECE Research Logo tells us:

The main shape is simply a representation for a pill.

ERG at the center of the pill is the first letters of ECE Research Group.

The numbers that encircle the drug are the binary codes, which refers to the "Computation". Off course those numbers are not random numbers. Every number has a meaning:

01000101 is the binary code for E
01010010 is the binary code for R
01000111 is the binary code for G

Every color has also a meaning. Green color of the binary codes implies that ECE Research is environmentally friendly. Computations minimize the use of chemicals in science. Thus, neither us nor the world exposes much chemicals compared to pure experimental works. Not to mention that it is also economically feasible.

The red color of the drug tells the risk of using high doses of drugs, which brings us to the famous quote "All things are poison and nothing is without poison; only the dose makes a thing not a poison. (Paracelsus (1493–1541))".
